Police are reporting a motorcycle crash on Highway 524 in Oldham County last night claimed the life of a Pendleton, Kentucky woman. Oldham County police say 43-year old Janette Weeks was a passenger on a motorcycle when the driver lost control and crashed in the 2800 block of Highway 524 shortly after 7-pm. She died from injuries she suffered in the crash according to the Oldham County Coroner’s office. The driver of the motorcycle, 46-year old Edward Scott Weeks, had minor injuries.
All too often drivers of motorcycles put the life of their passengers on the line when driving too fast or recklessly. Though police are investigating the crash, it is imperative to retain at attorney in cases such as this. All too often police investigators officially say the cause of a crash is unknown yet our accident reconstructionist will tell us otherwise, says attorney Finis Price with Kentucky Lawyers. ”Quick response is the key to ensuring all witnesses’ statements are recorded and an accurate picture of the events which took place are captured,” he says.
