A Morehead man was killed on the job Wednesday afternoon while working for a Lexington landfill company. Jesse Hodges was loading bins for delivery to a landfill when he was pinned between two dumpsters at the worksite located at 4179 Hedger Lane. The owner of the landfill, Demolition Disposal Services is investigating the incident at this time.
Hodges was pronounced dead by the University of Kentucky Medical Center at 2:40 p.m. due to multiple blunt force trauma. Hodges is survived by his wife Shayne and stepchildren Kyler and Shelby Gilbert. He was the son of Steve and Cindy Hodges of Morehead.
