Man Killed in Car Accident on Harrodsburg Road and Dogwood Trace

Brian Houck was killed at 9:22 p.m. Thursday in a car accident on Harrodsburg Road and Dogwood Trace, according to the Fayette County coroner’s office.  The cause of death is reported as multiple blunt-force injuries and he was pronounces dead at University of Kentucky Hospital. Houck was killed when two vehicles collided at 6:45 p.m. at Harrodsburg Road and Dogwood Trace. Police said the other driver, Joe Moore, 80, of Lexington, turned left in front of Houck’s car when both had a green light. The vehicles collided and came to rest on the grass at the entrance of the Dogwood Trace subdivision.  The police are still undergoing investigation of the crash at this time.
